Faculty Participation Procedure

• 上學期 (秋季) 決定本學程之非核心教師員額，開放所有教師申請加入本學程， 於下學期 (春季) 由執行委員會審查所有提出申請加入本學程教師之資料，通過後送院教評會及校教評會審議。
  In the previous semester (fall), the non-core faculty positions for the program are determined. All faculty members are invited to apply to join the program. In the following semester (spring), the program’s executive committee reviews all applications from faculty members who wish to join the program. Once approved, the applications are submitted for review to the college’s academic evaluation committee and the university’s academic evaluation committee.
• 下學期 (春季) 結束時統計並計算核心教師缺額，並且發信詢問點數較高之25位非核心教師轉核心教師的意願，於上學期 (秋季) 執行委員會上審議。
  At the end of the next semester (spring), core faculty vacancies are calculated. The 25 non-core faculty members with the highest points are contacted to inquire about their willingness to become core faculty members. This will be reviewed during the program’s Executive Committee meeting in the following semester (fall).
• 核心教師最多指導2位研究生，兼任教師最多指導1位研究生
  Core faculty members can supervise a maximum of 2 graduate students, while adjunct faculty members can supervise a maximum of 1 graduate student.
